David Rountree
Owner, Director, Producer
Listed in IMDb and the Hollywood Reporter as one of the Top 10 directors under 40, David is a full time director and accomplished actor/teacher. Rountree's last 2 films were released in theaters nationally and CUT!(thriller) was picked by mrankings.com as one of the Top 5 Horror Movies of the year. David also won “Best Director” awards for the film at 2 separate major festivals. 

Overall, David has directed 4 feature films and worked with several Emmy Award winning actors as well a Golden Globe/Oscar Nominated one. He has also directed numerous National Commercials and is scheduled to direct two multi-million dollar features over the next 3 years. 

Starting his career as a full-time actor, he had roles in blockbuster films like xXx: State of the Union and Pearl Harbor, while Guest Starring on shows like The OC, Medical Investigationand The Wedding Bells. David just received a Major Festival "Best Leading Actor" nomination for his role in the thriller The Dark Tapes.

Jeremy Jordan
Owner, Producer, Actor

Jeremy Jordan is an actor, film producer and real estate investor. He has a very strong financial background in real estate and has great experience and knowledge running many successful companies throughout the years. He currently co-owns LA Acting Studios, LA's Foremost on camera acting studio and film production company in North Hollywood.

Jeremy has produced several award winning films and has acted in many shorts and several features. He is set to star in a feature in March as well as playing recurring roles in several web series.  He recently co produced Film Con Hollywood, a film convention with over 500 attendees in LA. One of the highlights was awarding Chevy Chase with a Lifetime TEA Achievement Award in film.  Jeremy has a burning passion for the film industry and loves to bring his positive energy and enthusiasm to every film project.   

Rosie Garcia
Kids Corner ​ Instructor

Rosie Garcia is an incredibly talented actress mostly recognized for her recurring role as “Young Alba” on The CW network’s Jane the Virgin.  Rosie is a Southern California native who received a BA in Theatre Arts from Cal State University, Fullerton. She has had extensive work in TV and commercials.

Some of her notable TV credits include recurring roles on The Closer and Raising Hope with memorable guest starring roles on shows like Gang Related, Castle, The Mentalist, and 10-8 Officer on Duty. She has also done national commercials from such top brands as Nissan, McDonalds, Toyota, Baja Fresh, Sears, Vons, American Express, Pizza Hut, and Nationwide.

Rosie has also graced the big screen with a strong supporting role in the horror/thriller CUT!, which was selected by mrankings.com (movie rankings) as one of the Top 5 Horror Films of 2015. She also played opposite acting icon Kate Vernon and Golden Globe winner and Oscar-Nominated actor Bruce Davison in the baseball comedy 108 Stitches

David Banks​
Commercial Class, Improv Class Instructor
David Banks is an American film and television actor and musician.
He has appeared in more than 200 television commercials
in roles of leading man, boyfriend, son, husband, father,
“the regular guy/common man”, “poor sap”, “the dorky guy”,
“complaining idiot” and more.

In 2004, David Banks made his film debut in the drama Doing Hard Time with Steven Bauer, Boris Kodjoe, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Giancarlo Esposito.

David has appeared in commercials for Coors Light, Samsung, Eastwood, Reebok, Motorola, Best Buy, Hoover, Elephant Insurance, Little Caesar’s, Comcast, Red Robin, Mitsubishi, EA Games, Ditech, Milk, Booking.com and Citibank to name a few.

Banks was selected to join Lisa Kudrow, Janeane Garofalo, and Fred Willardin the new cartoon Lovesick Fool, directed by Dominic Polcino
(The Simpsons, Family Guy, and King of the Hill).
David just finished shooting alongside Jaleel White, Brent Briscoe and Gary Anthony Williams in the new comedy 5th of july.

Morgan Hill

Kids Corner Instructor

A classically trained actress, Morgan Hill has appeared in over 30 live productions.With over a decade of intensive core trainings, Morgan has been instructed by regional and Broadway artists. Winning several region and state awards, as well as scholarships through the Tony Award winning Utah Shakespeare Festival’s Shakespeare competition to their summer intensive workshops and eventually to its affiliated university SUU.
Working with theatre companies across Utah, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles Morgan also sought training in film and television.
Moving permanently to L.A. in 2017, she worked primarily in theatre until early 2018 when she walked through the doors at LA Acting Studios.Morgan has also been privileged to coach children and teens in acting alongside her actor/director parents
.

I could not find more generous people than David Rountree and Jeremy Jordan and the rest of the wonderful people that work at LA Acting Studios. As the department head for the children’s program Kids Corner, I am so thrilled to provide a happy, safe, creative environment for children in Hollywood with my head instructor Rosie Garcia. Our combined goal is to offer the best training, provide real on set experience, and watch the confidence and technique in our students raise them straight to the top of their potential.”



Harlan Groom
Film Study

Harlan is a seasoned veteran at LA Acting Studios and has a diverse background in film.  He is currently working with feature film director David Rountree in our master film class.

Harlan has been recently cast as the lead in two feature films that are both in pre development. He has been featured in many music videos and commercials. He is also a movie producer currently in pre production on a feature film. He has a deep passion for the film industry and wants to create profound inspiring change in the world through film. 

Andrew Hall
Phase 1: On Set, On Camera Instructor
Andrew Levi Hall has worked for many years in photojournalism and documentary filmmaking. He got his start on a short film written, produced, and co-directed in Cape Town, South Africa. Hall went on to become the Director of Photography for a local network television show in Colorado.

Andrew refined his skills in acting, directing, and editing by working alongside director David Rountree on a daily basis. He has also served as assistant director to David Rountee on several productions over the past 2 years. He is also  very experienced in pre-production, production, and post- production phases.

Andrew is excited to use his knowlenge as a director  to work with new and experienced actors alike to focus on teaching the fundamentals for what is needed on set.
